Privacy Policy
Effective 17 July 2026 · BloomKin ("we", "us")
BloomKin is a private daily reflection garden, currently in pre-launch. This site exists to let you join our waitlist. This policy explains what we collect here, why, and the rights you have over it — in plain words first, full detail after.
What we collect
In plain words: your email, and — only if you choose to answer — a first name and two one-tap answers. Nothing else identifies you.
- Email address — the only required field, used solely to tell you when BloomKin opens and to send occasional updates about the garden.
- Optional answers — after joining, you may answer up to three optional questions (what you'd like the garden to hold, your phone platform, and a name we may greet you by). Skipping them changes nothing.
- Visit context — when you sign up we record how you found us (campaign tags in the link, the referring site) and when. We use this to learn which of our posts people actually liked.
- Browser storage — we use your browser's local storage to remember that you already signed up and to keep your place if a submission fails. We do not use tracking cookies, and there is no third-party advertising code on this site.
What we never do
- We never sell your information, to anyone, for anything.
- We never use your information for third-party advertising.
- We never ask for payment details, government IDs, or health information on this site.
- We never treat your optional answer about what the garden should hold as a health record — it shapes what we build, nothing more.
Where your information lives
Waitlist entries are stored in a private Google Sheet operated by us, via Google's Apps Script service. Google LLC acts as our processor; its infrastructure may store data outside your country (including outside India, the UK, and the US) under Google's own compliance frameworks. Access is limited to the BloomKin team.
Why we're allowed to use it
We rely on your consent — you typed your email into a box that said what it was for — and on our legitimate interest in understanding how people find us. You can withdraw consent at any time (see "Your rights").
How long we keep it
Until BloomKin launches and our launch communications finish, or until you ask us to remove you — whichever comes first. Unsubscribing from any email removes you from the list.
Your rights
In plain words: email us and we'll show you, fix, or delete everything we hold about you — usually within a few days.
- Everyone: you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your information by writing to unnati.vasukam@gmail.com.
- India (DPDP Act 2023): you have the rights to access, correction, erasure, and grievance redressal. Our grievance contact is unnati.vasukam@gmail.com; we respond within the timelines the Act prescribes. If unsatisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
- UK & EU (UK GDPR / GDPR): you additionally have the rights to restrict or object to processing and to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with the ICO (UK) or your local supervisory authority.
- California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the rights to know, delete, and correct. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CPRA, and we do not use sensitive personal information.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you are under 18 in India, please join only with a parent or guardian's consent. If we learn we hold a child's data without proper consent, we will delete it.
A note on wellbeing
BloomKin is a reflection ritual, not a medical or mental-health service, and nothing on this site is health advice. If today is heavier than an app can hold, please reach out: Tele-MANAS 14416 (India), 988 (US), Samaritans 116 123 (UK), or your local helpline.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll note the new date at the top and, for significant changes, tell waitlist members by email before the change applies.
